Paul Musselwhite holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana University with a concentration in Finance and Economics, and a Law Degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He has been in private practice since 1982.Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Musselwhite served in the United States Air Force and thereafter was employed by financial corporations and banks, rising to Senior Vice President for Lending at Citizens Bank of Elizabethtown. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Musselwhite has served the Hardin Circuit Court as a Domestic Relations Commissioner and for ten years as the Master Commissioner for Hardin County.

Mr. Musselwhite and his wife reside in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He is the father of eight children, plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kimberly L. Staples

Kimberly Staples holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University with a concentration in Accounting. She earned her law degree in 1998 from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and has been in private practice since that time. Ms. Staples is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, Louisville Bar Association – Bankruptcy Division, and Hardin County Bar Association. In addition, Ms. Staples served on the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Strategic Planning Committee for the Western District of Kentucky, and is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. To date, Ms. Staples has obtained the largest personal injury settlement in our firm’s history. She has also worked with students in Jefferson and Hardin County, participating in Teen Court and the C.A.R.E. program which helps educate young adults on issues related to credit attainment and financial planning. In her spare time, Ms. Staples is an avid runner and swimmer but most often can be found spending time with her three grandchildren.

James Hafley holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Louisville in Music Education, and a Law Degree from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. Prior to joining MSH&J, he had extensive criminal law defense experience ranging from misdemeanor offenses to Class A felonies. He was an Assistant Public Advocate in Hardin County, Breckinridge County, Meade County, and Grayson County.

During law school, Mr. Hafley was the recipient of numerous awards and held several offices including Vice-President of the Moot Court Board, and Secretary of the Student Bar Association. Academic awards included recognition as a Greenbaum Fellow, Miller Scholar, Barbri Fellow, and other recognitions of academic excellence.

Mr. Hafley is married with two daughters. He is a lifelong resident of Kentucky, born and raised in Marion County, Kentucky where his family still resides. He attended high school in Lebanon, Kentucky.
